Privacy Policy

Review Anchors LLC ("ReviewAnchors," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at reviewanchors.com and provides done-for-you local-marketing services to small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers three groups of people:

  • Visitors to reviewanchors.com.
  • Clients — businesses that purchase our services.
  • Customers of our clients — the people who receive review-request messages or interact with services we operate on a client's behalf.

2. Information we collect

From visitors to our website

  • Contact form submissions — name, business name, email, phone number (optional), and any message you send us.
  • Usage data — pages visited, referring URL, device type, approximate location (city/region from IP), and similar standard web analytics. Collected via cookies and standard server logs.

From clients during onboarding and service delivery

  • Business name, address, phone, email, hours of operation, services offered.
  • Logo, brand colors, photos, business description.
  • Owner mobile number for critical-review alerts.
  • Domain registrar and DNS access (for website service).
  • Google Business Profile manager access (for review/GBP service).
  • Google Search Console and Analytics access (for SEO service).
  • Past customer contact lists (name, phone, email) provided to us by the client for the purpose of running review-reactivation campaigns on the client's behalf.
  • Payment information — processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.

From customers of our clients

When a client engages our Reviews service, we receive contact information for the client's recent and past customers — typically name, phone number, and email — for the limited purpose of sending review requests and follow-up nudges on the client's behalf.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve our services.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
  • Send review-request and follow-up messages on behalf of clients (only to recipients the client has identified as customers).
  • Reply to reviews on behalf of clients across Google, Facebook, and other platforms.
  • Manage and optimize a client's Google Business Profile.
  • Build, host, monitor, and maintain client websites.
  • Run search-engine and answer-engine optimization work for clients.
  • Send reports, billing communications, and service updates.
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. SMS messaging program (important)

Review request SMS — for client customers

When we send review-request SMS on behalf of a client, we do so under the client's brand and SMS sender identity. SMS messages are sent only to contacts the client has provided to us as their existing customers. By providing their phone number to a client business, customers consent to receive a small number of review-request messages from that business following a completed job.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies. Recurring messages may be sent following a completed job until you reply STOP or leave a review.

Standard rates apply: Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-out at any time: Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance.

No re-sale of SMS data: We do not share or sell phone numbers collected for SMS purposes, or SMS opt-in data, with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. SMS data is used solely to operate the review-request program on behalf of the client business that originally collected the phone number.

Operational SMS — for clients and prospects

We may send transactional SMS to clients and prospects who have provided a phone number (for example, account alerts or onboarding confirmation). Standard rates apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and improve our content. We may use third-party analytics providers to help us measure traffic and usage patterns. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; some features of the site may not function as intended if cookies are disabled.

6. Third-party service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate parts of our service, including (without naming individual vendors): website hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, CRM and automation, payment processing, analytics, and content scheduling. These providers process information only as needed to perform services for us and are obligated to keep that information confidential.

We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not share contact information (including SMS phone numbers and SMS opt-in data) with third parties or affiliates for those parties' own marketing purposes.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Client business data and the customer lists we process on a client's behalf are retained for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period after termination. When you cancel service, you can request deletion of customer-list data we processed on your behalf — we'll confirm and delete within thirty (30) days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Opt out of certain processing.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time (email "unsubscribe" link or reply STOP to SMS).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@reviewanchors.com. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their privacy rights.

California residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete that information, and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information in our care. No method of transmission over the internet is one hundred percent secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's information

Our services are not directed to children under thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International visitors

Our services are operated from the United States. If you access them from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using the services, you consent to that transfer.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the website or sent to active clients by email.
